Cap - Covered with soft woolly hairs. Somewhat olive green, uniform in colour under the skin, yellow chinks on the surface.

Flesh - White.

Tubes - Yellow, with large angular mouths.

Stem - Stout, rugged, with minute dots.

Habitat - Common in woods.
