Lenzites Betulina
Lenzites betulinaThe Lenzites betulina has a somewhat corky, leathery cap, firm, and without zones, woolly and pale; the margin of uniform colour; the
lamellae radial, somewhat branching, and coming together again. Sordid white.
This fungus, in the form of brackets, is found especially on birch trees, but it is also found on various other kinds. It is a widespread species, and is quite variable. The lamellae are at first thick, corky, and sordid white; then thinner, with acute edges.
